My path toward psychotherapy began through my work as a Child and Youth Worker, supporting children, adolescents, and families in schools, homes, and group care settings. I had the privilege of walking alongside people through transitions, conflicts, and the silent experience of not feeling seen.
Through this work, I learned that healing is not always about eliminating pain, but about finding purpose within it—and recognizing that even in the darkest moments, we still have the freedom to choose how we relate to our experiences.
This understanding continues to shape the way I show up as a therapist today. I believe that when we feel disconnected or lost, it is often because something essential feels out of reach. Yet within each of us, there is a call to live with greater clarity, authenticity, and intention.
Therapy offers a space to pause, to listen to that call, and to explore what truly matters, even when the path forward isn’t always clear or linear.
To support this process, I have completed additional training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrating these approaches through a humanistic and existential lens, and honoring the unique values and experiences of each person.
